Maintenance Level 2 in Brighton, MI
The Maintenance Level II position will be required to perform a variety of vocational skills such as welding, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting
Fabricating and repairing tooling
Use of adhesive materials when working with PVC pipe and fittings
Repair or installation of black pipe
Read blue prints and schematic
Troubleshoot motor starters, switches, and relays installation of electrical boxes and conduit
Employee will be required to work with high voltage circuits such as 480V, 230V, 120V

Maintenance Technician in Bay City, MI
Full-time work in an industrial setting, 1st shift. Candidates are needed for primarily maintenance duties on the property, but may also be required to perform some janitorial duties.

Production Manager in Brighton, MI.
PC&L Supervisor (production scheduling) will communicate daily with the Production Manager each customer’s production requirements.
It is the responsibility of the Production Manager to meet customer expectations and maximize the company’s ROI. Focus must be on employee safety, housekeeping, zero unscheduled downtime, first time quality, and overall highest levels of production efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day operations of the E-coat system in order to meet/exceed budget objectives.
Has the authority and responsibility to properly staff the department within the budget.
Must work with HR Management to understand and comply with all company policies and objectives.
Work closely with EH&S department to eliminate hazards and provide employee safety in the workplace.
Maintains and enforces safe operating procedures within the plant to minimize exposure to injury and accidents. Take immediate actions necessary to eliminate unsafe/risky situations in the workplace
Meets or exceeds quality, service, and delivery expectations of our customers.
Has the responsibility to reduce production costs for labor, materials, waste, as related to the E-coat paint system through continuous improvement.
Develop and implement production improvement strategies. (i.e. safety, quality, tooling, process flow, labor, waste, etc).
Participation in various management meetings, providing input relative to the performance and needs of production, and participates in applicable budget discussions.
Provide assistance with daily/weekly scheduling and the evaluation of labor hours worked.
Works closely with Operations Manager and HR Manager to evaluate/consider hiring of contract labor personnel.
Works with Human Resources on employee evaluations, following a defined disciplinary policy for production employees with suitable verbal and written warnings, in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
Provides specific training and coaching of floor supervisors and other direct reports on supervisory techniques, goal achievement, various policies, and operational procedures.
Follows the quality assurance program, so product output meets customer and ultimate end user requirements.
Utilizes production, warehouse, and floor space effectively, and always searching for more effective methods of processing parts.
Enforces corporate procedures to ensure housekeeping practices are maintained in a “customer tour ready” condition at all times
Provides input to the Operations Manager relative to achieving labor and production rates that exceed quoted expectations.
Maintains cooperative working relationships with various managers and operating personnel.
Coordinates with the EH&S/ HR management to meet all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations, as they pertain to the production equipment and operation.
Respects the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information.
Demonstrates ability to tactfully handle difficult employee situations with confidentiality, documentation, and respect to privacy.
The salary is $60k-$80k annually.
Minimum 5 years production management with direct floor supervision and leadership experience of 30-40 employees. Preferably minimum 5 years production management experience, specifically in the job shop metal finishing industry, and knowledgeable of E-Coat painting operations, and general PM skills.
Knowledge of various paint coating production processes, inventory management, production line supervisory experience of unskilled/ semi-skilled employees.
Excellent communication skills (read/write English), both verbal and written, at all levels within the company, and effectively communicate these ideas and instructions.
Computer literate/trainable on company IT systems for inventory management, spreadsheets, emails, internal reports, etc.
Ability to plan ahead, be flexible, and highly organized in stressful situations.
Leadership by example- must work on the shop floor with employees/ staff.
Willing to work on continuous improvement in process flow, personnel, employee training, to maximize quality, service, on-time delivery at lowest operating cost.
Ability to train staff in company policies/exceeding company and customer’s expectations.
Available to work overtime (daily and weekends) as needed and off shifts when required.
Paint Technician in Brighton, MI
Train on 1st shift then move to 2nd with a $.50/hr. increase for shift premium. Wages will be based on level and experience. This position will be responsible for set up of lines, checking quality of paint levels, performing work in extreme heat, utilizing light mechanical knowledge, and displaying strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Welder in Bay City, MI
First Shift Welder in the Bay City area responsible for fabricating various sheet metal products, utilizing drawings, instructions, and company guidelines.
Essential Functions include:
Operate welding equipment to work with carbon steel in various thicknesses in horizontal and vertical positions (stainless steel and aluminum also as required).
Proficient in tig and wire welding.
Visualize what finished products should look like (print reading).
Finish grinding on welded sheet metal using a hand grinder. Welded/ground corners are to be cosmetically adequate.
Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.
Fully participate in and support the quality system.
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA guidelines.
Wear the proper protective equipment as required.
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
